Introduction to Chessboard Test Chart
The chessboard test pattern TE102 is used to test and inspect geometric distortion, resolution, and uniformity of signal generation. It is composed of black and white squares and two resolution wedges as shown in the figure.
The test chart is similar to a chessboard surrounded by 10/19 grid grating lines corresponding to the electronic test generator, with 9x18 black and white square blocks distributed within the rectangular edge box. The horizontal grid lines of these generators correspond to the 58 rows of the entire image.
The two resolution wedges in the middle can detect vertical and horizontal resolutions, marked with lines and MHz.
Chessboard test chart function
1. Check the consistency between geometry and grid, and if necessary, use electronic mesh generation methods.
2. Check the uniformity of signal generation.
3. Check the resolution.
